E Is For EPC

EPCs or Energy Performance Certificates tell you how energy efficient a building is. They are given a rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) so that you know how costly it will be to heat and light the building, as well as what the carbon dioxide emissions are likely to be.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The certificate will also highlight any energy efficiency improvements you could make to the property, how much these improvements are likely to cost and how much they could save a typical household if implemented. Handy!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you plan to sell your home, you need to ensure that you have an EPC available for potential buyers as soon as you begin to market your property.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you don't have an EPC or need to have one updated, you must use an approved Domestic Energy Assessor to produce it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When you sell your home through @habitats_online, you can easily book an assessor from an approved EPC organisation to produce an EPC for your home. Just another one of our handy property selling tools!
